Our Story
ReBooth is a local Invercargill charity founded by mother-daughter duo Donagh and Maddison Booth, created to help quality pre-loved items find the people who need them most.
What started as The Shoe Booth, redistributing unwanted children’s shoes to local families, has grown into something much bigger. Today, ReBooth supports Murihiku whānau through shoes, school uniforms, formalwear and practical giveaway events, all built around one simple belief: good things should go around again.

Our Founders
Meet the mother-daughter duo behind Re-Booth
ReBooth began with Donagh and Maddison Booth, a local mother and daughter with big hearts, big ideas and a very practical way of helping people.
After seeing a need in the community, they started collecting and redistributing pre-loved shoes so local tamariki and rangatahi could access footwear without cost being a barrier. The idea was simple, but the impact was immediate.
With support from generous locals, volunteers, schools and families, The Shoe Booth quickly grew. More donations came in, more people reached out, and more opportunities appeared to help families in everyday ways.
From there, ReBooth expanded into school uniforms, formalwear and pop-up giveaway spaces, helping local people access what they need with dignity, kindness and no judgement.
It started with shoes. Now it is so much more.
The first step was simple: collect good-quality shoes that were no longer being used, and get them to families who could use them.
But as the need grew, so did the vision.
ReBooth now brings together a family of community support spaces, each designed to give pre-loved items a second life while helping people feel ready, confident and included.
From school shoes and uniforms to ball gowns, suits and special occasion wear, ReBooth is all about turning “we don’t need this anymore” into “this is exactly what someone else needed.”
ReBooth is about more than clothing, shoes or formalwear. It is about dignity, confidence, community and second chances.
A donated pair of shoes can help a child feel ready for school.
